Sam Fisher teased for Ghost Recon Wildlands Special Operation

A Splinter Cell cross-over for Ghost Recon Wildlands starring Sam Fisher is being teased by Ubisoft.

Ghost Recon Wildlands players will soon be able to participate in new Special Operation, The Call, which has ties to Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher.

Going by the teaser, Sam Fisher is heading to Bolivia to rendezvous with the Ghosts. And yes, that's Michael Ironside you hear in the teaser video.

Ubisoft will talk about the Special Operation next week on April 9, so add that to your calendar.

The event's timing is rather interesting as it follows a listing for Splinter Cell 2018 which appeared on Amazon Canada back in mid-March.

Amazon had the game slated for release this year, but because the Splinter Cell listing was pulled, we can’t be sure whether it was a place holder or some sort of goof on the retailer's part.
