Destiny 2 Xur update: should you buy Sunshot?

Sunshot is used by the Hunter class, and it's an Exotic Hand Cannon Xur is selling this week in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 has some rather nice hand cannons available in the game, but one of the best PvE Exotics in that category is Sunshot.

This Solar hand cannon can shoot 150 rounds per minute, and deals 330 Solar attack damage. It’s Perks are Sunburn, which produces explosive rounds which highlight targets, and Sun Blast which makes enemies explode in Solar Energy.

A stable barrel attachment, Chambered Compensator, helps improve recoil and direction but at the same time decreases handling speed a slight bit.

That said, handling isn't terrible by any means thanks to Textured Grip, as it helps increase handling speed, but it also slightly decreases stability.

While Sunshot doesn't have the best range compared to other Destiny 2 Exotics, Accurized Rounds helps when it comes to hitting targets at a longer distance. Still, it's range is nothing to scoff at.

All in all, Sunshot is no slouch when it comes to introducing enemies to the choir invisible. As always though, the choice is up to you, and if you're keen to get your hands on it, Xur is selling it this week for 29 Legendary Shards.
