Fort Designer lets Fortnite players create and share their building designs

Fort Designer seems like a great way for Fortnite players to create and customise design ideas.

Unlike PUBG, Fortnite’s battle royale mode stands out largely thanks to allowing players to collect materials and build elaborate forts and structures to escape, hide in, or reach a previously unreachable player.

The in-game tool is pretty simple, but very powerful, as you’ve no doubt seen as you play and/or watch others creatively solve in-game challenges. Enter Fort Designer, a tool that lets you devise these structures ahead of time and know exactly how much materials you’ll need for the designs you have in mind.

Created by Reddit user spaggi, Fort Designer also allows you to share your creations with others. The tool’s creator initially made it as a way of communicating the structure designs he wanted to do with this Duo partner, but it evolved into a more rich creator over time.

Fort Designer can be used in any browser (on Windows) running the Unity plugin, and you can check it out at Fort Designer.com. It’s still in beta, so don’t be alarmed if something doesn’t work.

Currently, the focus is on battle royale creations, but this could be expanded later to include Save the World, which is where it’ll make the most sense.
