StarCraft's Fenix is heading to Heroes of the Storm

It’s been a while since the last new Heroes of the Storm hero reveal. Fortunately, Blizzard is clearly aware of this, since the studio just teased the next hero heading to the meaty MOBA.

We don’t have any details on how he’ll play, but the next hero to enter the HotS arena is Fenix, a legendary Protoss from Blizzard’s StarCraft universe.

Fenix once led Protoss warriors into battle. Headstrong and unafraid of death, the warrior eventually died at the hands of the Zerg during the Great War.

Luckily for him, his body was recovered and placed inside a massive spider tank called a Dragoon. In StarCraft, Dragoons are predominantly anti-air units, so it will be interesting to see how Fenix looks in HotS.

Dragoons weren’t very effective with clusters of enemies in StarCraft, so a solid bet would be on a strong warrior class who focuses on taking down powerful, singular enemies.

Here’s a quick look at the hero from the official Blizzard reveal:

We’ll let you know when Blizzard reveals more details.

Are there any heroes from across Blizzard’s games that you want to see make an appearance? Let us know in the comments and we’ll tell Uncle Blizzard to make it happen.
