Emergency Fortnite patch 3.1.1 fixes client crashes

Don't panic, the latest Fortnite patch is just fixing clients crashes for some players.

Sorry, it's not an update with any new gear or modes, it's just a really sensible thing and it weighs in at just under 1GB so shouldn't be too disruptive.

The patch follows yesterday's big weekly update, which added Lucky Landing and the Hunting Rifle.

Here's what Epic had to say about today's patch 3.1.1.

Patch 3.1.1 is planned to release tomorrow at 4:00AM ET(09:00 GMT). This is to fix client crashes some players are experiencing. There will be no downtime for this patch, but you may need to restart for the update to take effect.
