Xbox 360 titles The Witcher 2, Forza Horizon, Fable Anniversary, Crackdown enhanced for Xbox One X

Four Xbox 360 titles have been enhanced for Xbox One X and a new graphics setting for such titles is now available for the console.

Xbox 360 titles The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Forza Horizon, Fable Anniversary and today's addition to the Backward Compatibility library, Crackdown, have been enhanced for Xbox One X.

Today's additions bring the total of Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 games to 11.

Here's the full list of enhanced 360 titles for Xbox One X:

  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Crackdown
  • Fable Anniversary
  • Fallout 3
  • Forza Horizon
  • Gears of War 3
  • Halo 3
  • Mirror’s Edge
  • Oblivion
  • Skate 3
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Along with the enhancements, Microsoft announced a new graphics setting for enhanced Xbox 360 titles on Xbox One X.

Xbox 360 games which have been enhanced for Xbox One feature a higher resolution and nine times the original pixel count, increased texture details and antialiasing.

Xbox One X users can choose to play these games with the enhanced graphics or in original form. Enhanced graphics are turned on by default, so if the user wishes to play the games without said enhancements, they can turn off the graphics setting.

Here's how to change the setting:

  1. Press “View” and “Menu” buttons on the controller to pull up the Xbox 360 guide
  2. Navigate to “Settings” blade
  3. Select “Xbox One X Settings”
  4. Select to optimize for “Graphics” or “Performance”
  5. Restart the game

Turning the Graphics setting off will make the backward compatible game look as it does on Xbox One or Xbox One S.

Enjoy.
