Pokemon GO celebrates Pokemon Day with party hat Pikachu which knows the move Present

It's Pokemon Day, and those wandering around the outdoors will find a special Pikachu.

Pokemon GO players should keep an eye out for a special Pikachu through tomorrow afternoon.

This version of Pikachu will be wearing a festive, striped purple hat to celebrate Pokemon Day 2018. It's the same hat as Pokemon Day 2017, but this time out the critter knows the move Present.

Players will earn triple the usual Stardust when catching this particular Pikachu.

Pokemon GO Trainers can look for Pikachu wearing a party hat through February 28 at 1pm PST, 4pm EST, 9pm BST.

If you're not a Pokemon GO player, there are other ways to enjoy Pokemon Day.

The Pokemon Center, an online shop for everything Pokemon, has a special Gallery Figure DX available: Charizard-Blast Burn.

The online store will also be selling Special Legendary Pokemon Pins. Starting today, Dialga and Palkia pins can be purchased and new pins will be released through November.

Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!, will be available on Pokemon TV for the first time, available to view on the app for one week.

Those who own Amazon Alexa-enabled devices in most countries, and Google Home-enabled devices in the US can use Pikachu Talk.

Users are able to converse "live” with Pikachu by making a request or asking a question. It will also interact with users with the various, trademark "pika" responses. Pikachu Talk is now available for those outside of Japan.

Other Pokemon Day fun includes three new Snapchat Lenses featuring the first Pokemon from the Kanto region beginning with Bulbasaur. Charmander will arrive later, followed by Squirtle.

Lots of Pokemon fun going on.

Reminder to Pokemon Sun and Moon, and Ultra Sun and Moon players: don't forget to download Legendary Pokemon Regigigas and Heatran starting March 1 as part of the 2018 Pokemon distribution event.
