Monster Hunter World: most of the online features are unavailable on Xbox One

On Xbox One, many of Monster Hunter World's online features have been inaccessible since the game launched on Friday.

Finding a co-op partner or joining a friend in Monster Hunter World is not exactly a simple process at the best of times. Unfortunately, if you have the game on Xbox One, you'll be having an even tougher time.

Matchmaking, and the ability to filter search results have been down on Xbox One since launch. Players are also unable to search for a squad session, or respond to another player's SOS (co-op invite).

In order to join someone else's game, you either have to know the session ID, or, if you're friends with them, invite them through the console. For some bizarre reason, Xbox's Looking For Group system also works.

None of these issues are present on PS4. Needless to say, Xbox players are not happy, especially since Capcom hosted three pre-launch betas that all skipped Xbox One. Capcom only acknowledged the issues today, saying it's currently working on a solution.

If you can't wrap your head around how invites work in Monster Hunter World, it's a good idea to check out our how to invite, join a party guide. Hopefully the remaining systems will be up and running sooner rather than later.
