Overwatch patch that adds Blizzard World map, Cosmetics Update is now live

The Overwatch patch which adds the new Blizzard World map along with the spiffy new cosemtics is now available.

Blizzard announced back in November the new map along with new cosmetics were on the way.

Over 100 new items have been added to standard Overwatch Loot Boxes, such as Legendary Skins.

All of this was announced for Overwatch back at BlizzCon 2017, and last week, Blizzard provided a look at some of the Overwatch skins, sprays, intros and emotes which players can now enjoy. An expanded list is through here.

The Blizzard World map is an Assault/Escort hybrid map. On the theme park-inspired map, players will attack and defend the payload across Azeroth, Tristram, and the Koprulu Sector.

The Blizzard World map will be disabled in Competitive Play until the start of Season 9. It will be available in Quick Play and Custom Games starting today.

Alongside the new Overwatch content, Blizzard fixed a bug that caused weapon accuracy on the career profile to be displayed as 100%.

Also fixed was a bug that caused Junkrat’s Concussive Mine and Steel Trap to disappear if he placed them before using RIP-Tire. It's worth noting balance changes for Junkrat and Mercy noted inthe PTR patch aren't included in today's update. Look for those changes through another update.
