Destiny 2 Titan armour: Restorative, Heavy and Mobile sets, and where to get them

Destiny 2’s meta currently favours some attributes over others. Here’s how Titans can max out their Recovery, Resilience and Mobility stats.

Here's a late addition to our Destiny 2 guide and the second of three pages dedicated to custom-tailoring your Destiny 2 build once you reach endgame. This one's all about Titans.

We've talked elsewhere about which armour stat is best in Destiny 2, but there's always room for debate, and it's not immediately obvious how to achieve your goals even once you've made up your mind.

That's where we come in. On this page you'll find a list of every Legendary Titan armour set in Destiny 2, whether the set favours Recovery (Restorative), Resilience (Heavy) or Mobility (Mobile), and perhaps most importantly where you can get the damned things. Seriously, getting hold of theLegendaries you need for a specific build is trickier than tracking down all the Exotic Titan armour.

Once you've cast your eye over the armour stats page linked above and consulted the Crucible Playlist armour spreadsheet to determine what kind of armour you need for each slot, consult the info below to help you chase down the Warlock armour set of your dreams.

How to get Restorative Titan armour (Recovery)

With Restorative armour, Titans can build their Recovery to 8, although that does eat into Resilience as well as Mobility. Recovery is the most favoured stat in the current meta, but in general you probably don't want to throw defence quite so far under the bus. Still, the option's there, and you'll probably want to lean at least part way into a Restorative build.

There are loads of Restorative Titan sets to choose from, and you'll find plenty of them in PvP - which is where the Recovery meta is most important. Handy, that. It's almost as if Bungie is trying to tell you something...

How to get Heavy Titan armour (Resilience)

Resilience is the Titan's main jam, and they can crank it up to a whopping 10, making them very hardy indeed - but as usual this comes with very low Mobility and Recovery. Still, this natural tendency makes it very easy to keep your defence high while outing other values as well.

There are a few Heavy Titan armour sets to choose from but none are earned in endgame activities, which suggests this isn't the build Bungie has in mind for its robust defenders.

How to get Mobile Titan Armour (Mobility)

The highest Mobility a Titan can reach is 7, assuming they want to throw Recovery in the bin. This approach is pretty much ass-backwards in the current PvP meta, but Bungie seems to think it's ideal for highend PvE, given both Raid reward sets are in this category.

Hopefully this quick summary helps you track down the pieces you need to build your ultimate Titan armour set in Destiny 2. Good luck!
