How to unlock the new Lost Prophecy weapon forge in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Here’s how to unlock the weapon forge in Destiny 2 following the release of the brand-new expansion, Curse of Osiris, opening Lost Prophecy weapon quests.

In the Lighthouse social area - previously only accessible by achieving a flawless victory in the Trials of Osiris - you can trade in consumable materials for Osiris-themed weaponry. Here's everything you need to know to get started, presented as part of our Destiny 2 guide.

To start, you have to finish the Curse of Osiris campaign missions, which unlocks the ability to complete adventures on Mercury. When you’ve done that, make your way through the three normal difficulty adventures - this unlocks their heroic versions.

When you’ve finished one of these heroic adventures, you’ll be able to start the steps toward crafting some weapons.

The Curse of Osiris quest-giver Brother Vance will give you a new item, the Lost Prophecy, Verse 1 - which will eventually turn into a scout rifle.

To activate the Verse, you have collect a Concentrated Radiolarian Culture, which is made up of ten normal Radiolaria Cultures. We've got some tips on farming Radiolaria Cultures if you need help there.

Once you’ve collected the Cultures, return to the quest-giver, who will combine the 10 Cultures into one Concentrated Culture. Then “use” the Concentrated Culture in your inventory - this will complete the Lost Prophecy, Verse 1’s requirement, which after a final conversation with Brother Vance can be taken to forge your new weapon.

Each week you'll be able to complete a rotating selection of Lost prophecy Verses to unlock new weapons, until you have the full set. We're hoping the forge might be the clue to a new secret weapon quest, possibly leading to a new Exotic weapon, but that's all speculation at the moment.
