The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions Ballad DLC adds a motorcycle, hits Switch and Wii U today

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gets a new DLC today. Grab it and ride around on a motorcycle, apparently.

The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma appeared on stage to introduce the trailer and later to chat a bit about it.

Called The Champion's Ballad, the DLC is being released today on Switch and Wii U, which is nice.

It looks like players can get to know the five Champions in the past and the present, and play as these Champions in addition to Link. There are new shrines to explore, and some new costumes for Link, too.

The motorcycle is probably the bit everyone's gonna be really excited about though. It's called the Master Cycle Zero, and Aonuma said that it'll enable new modes of exploration - maybe you'll be able to get into new areas? Anyway, take a look at in the video below.

The Champion's Ballad can't be purchased on its own; you'll need to pick up the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Season Pass in order to partake of its delights.

It looks like the DLC is available right now in some regions; if it's not available in yours yet, try again in a couple of hours.
