Bayonetta 3 announced for Switch by the perfect angels at Nintendo

Bayonetta 3 has been announced because Nintendo is staffed by the greatest human beings in the industry.

Answering the collective prayers of a million action gamers, Nintendo has announced it is once again partnering with Platinum Games for a third Bayonetta game.

Bayonetta 3 is headed to Switch, and of course we have no freaking idea about release date or story or any of the stuff you want to know. It was announced with a trailer at The Game Awards tonight, and we'll have to wait for press releases to get any actual details.

You can watch the Bayonetta 3 teaser trailer below. No gameplay, unfortunately.

And now here's one showing off Bayonetta 1 and 2 for Switch. That's also happening and will be available at retail in North America from February 16.

Given it started on PS3 and Xbox 360, it's a pity for PlayStation and Xbox fans that Bayonetta remains exclusive to Nintendo platforms, but since Nintendo is the only one ponying up to bring us these stylish action games we can hardly complain. It's not like Halo comes out on Switch, is it.

Anyway, we're always down for more Bayonetta, and happy she's become an unofficial Nintendo mascot. Wonder if she'll have another new haircut this time?
