Atom looks super hard to hit in this Injustice 2 DLC trailer
Atom, who is coming to Injustice 2 as DLC next week, has been shown off in a new trailer.
If you're not familiar with the character, think Ant-Man, except with, uh, atoms instead of ants. He can shrink, he can get big, he can zip around super fast landing loads of powerful, tiny blows. This is the Ryan Choi iteration of Atom, if you follow the comics.
Atom was announced back in October, and detailed in a trailer. This new one doesn't actually reveal much beyond what that first one did, but zipping around looks like fun. It'll be interesting to see how enemies can hit or dodge Atom when he shrinks - it looks all but impossible in this trailer, but fighting game trailers are always weighted to make the highlighted character look amazing.
Atom is part of Fighter Pack 3, the third lot of character DLC for Injustice 2. That pack will also introduce Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (although we're not entirely clear on how the turtles will fight yet).
At this point I would like to make the requisite 'up and at-them' reference that all Simpsons fans are obliged to make whenever Atom is mentioned.
Atom will be available to buy from December 13, although owners of the Fighter Pack will get him a day early on December 12.
