Destiny 2: here's a breakdown of everything in the Curse of Osiris launch trailer

Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, will be with us very soon - but before we jump in, let's pick apart the final trailer.

We've got a video from Arekkz below, where he picks apart the trailer for new information and hints about what to expect from Curse of Osiris. He points out all the Exotic weapons, new locations, and Strike bosses we missed on a first viewing. We've got a rundown of all the changes coming with this DLC, but this trailer has still shed some light.

As Arekkz points out, there are sections of Mercury, where this campaign is set, shown in this trailer that we had not seen before. We know that we'll see multiple timelines in this DLC, so perhaps we're seeing the past Mercury in this trailer, which we have not seen anything from before. Arekkz says that he does not recognise this area from the section of the patrol zone he has been able to play at events.

Elsewhere, he points out a new Exotic, the Red Death hand cannon, which is related to the original (and terrifying) Red Death rifle, which looks very cool. There's a new Exotic shotgun on show in the Crucible footage too, and a few other new guns that we don't really see the functions of. We also see the bosses of two strikes, and get a sense of what it will be like fighting them.

A lot of the trailer was focused on gear, too. We see a Titan wearing ornamented faction gear, which looks very cool, plus an whole bunch of others for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters.

We also get a look inside the Raid Lair in this video, which, are Arekkz points out, looks aesthetically more in line with the raids from Destiny 1 than the golden opulence of the Leviathan Raid.

Give the video a look for a full breakdown of Curse of Osiris, which is due to release very soon.

We'll be sure to have more coverage of Destiny 2's first DLC once we're playing it.
