The first Destiny 2 expansion will be with us shortly.
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris will bring a lot of changes with it, from minor things like the daily reset time to the addition of huge chunks of new content, like the Infinite Forest. It will raise the Power cap and will introduce new Raid Lairs.
The expansion will launch December 5 (US time), so it’s not far away now at all. It will be part of the Expansion Pass, which will include a second expansion released early in 2018. The launch trailer below showcases the plot, which sees you dealing with the return of Osiris, a notorious Warlock. It’ll offer a few extra campaign missions set on Mercury, where the Vex seem to be up to something.
As this trailer shows, there’s going to be plenty of new playable content coming, and also a whole heap of new weapons and gear, cosmetic and otherwise. There will also be new Strikes and Crucible maps added, which will add slightly more variety to the game.
If you feel underprepared for this new content, be sure to check out our complete Destiny 2 guide to get up to speed. We’ve covered everything you need to up your Destiny game in there.
We’ll be playing Curse of Osiris after it launches, so stay tuned for further coverage.
