The Surge shows off the creepy mascot robots we can't wait to destroy in this DLC trailer

Look, we've waited a long time for Itchy & Scratchy Land: The Game, and this looks like the closest thing we'll ever get.

The Surge is going for A Walk in the Park next month, as we found out not long ago with the DLC's first trailer. As good as that trailer looked, though, it was missing something that this trailer has in spades - terrifying mascot robots.

You'll have sixteen new weapons to tear through these things with, which is good, because they really look like they need to die.

In among all the misshapen candy bars given vicious life by the electronic tapestries that exist within their heartless chests you'll also encounter some human enemies. None of them are donut-headed monsters with the words 'Chew-U' written on their rigid shirts, though, so we're not quite as excited about putting them down.

CREO World, the setting of A Walk in the Park, was originally an amusement park for employees of the game's fictional mega-corporation. This is strange since these mascots seem designed more to send a person mad than to entertain them.

A Walk in the Park will be available on December 5. On that same day, you'll be able to buy The Surge: Complete Edition, which will come with the DLC included.
