Some of these moons and coins in Super Mario Odyssey are hidden in ridiculous places

Secrets in Super Mario Odyssey can be really difficult to reach.

Super Mario Odyssey is a big collectathon at its core, but not all coins and moons are easily reached. Some of these are so well hidden, you'll either have to know exactly how to find them, or - as many players found - you'll stumble upon them accidentally.

Every kingdom in the game hides many of these, and though some are designed to be hidden in plain sight like this moon (via Extreme Kiwi), others are definitely not meant to be seen by a casual player.

This moon in Cap Kingdom can only be spotted if you look behind you after a challenging platforming section (via Andruidus).

This next set of hidden coins are similarly well outside your your peripheral vision that you'll need to know they're there to begin with, let alone find out how to actually get it. It probably won't be easy, even if this video from Tumblr user Notexactlysober makes it seem easy.

If you've been playing Super Mario Odyssey yourself, do share what you've come across in the comments. And, if you want a quick and dirty way to farm coins, we've got you covered.
