Life is Strange: Before the Storm - Episode 2 has a release date, along with a rather new video setting the scene for upcoming events.

In this new video for Life is Strange: Before the Storm, some of the new characters and environments for Episode 2: Brave New World are introduced.

Other character which were in the original Life is Strange are making a return. Episode 2 of Life is Strange: Before the Storm releases on October 19, and below is the synopsis. If you have yet to play Episode 1, you may wish to skip down the page a bit.

"As Chloe and Rachel’s family life continues to crumble, their friendship blossoms and the two girls discuss running away together. But before they can go, Chloe gets involved with an errand for Frank Bowers which puts her in a dangerous situation and exposes an uglier side to Arcadia Bay."

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a prequel to Dontnod's well-received episodic story-driven, episodic adventure Life is Strange.

A sequel is in the works works at Dontnod, but we don't expect to hear much regarding Life is Strange 2 for quite a while.

The prequel was announced ahead of E3 2017 during Microsoft's Xbox One showcase event.

Developed by Deck Nine games, Life is Strange: Before the Storm is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The third and final episode is currently without a release date.
