Star Wars Battlefront 2: check out 10 minutes of beta gameplay showing the Strike on Takodana

With the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta kicking off tomorrow for pre-order customers, you may want to have a look at the new Strike mode.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 includes a new Strike mode which will be included in the beta, and we have some fresh gameplay footage of it.

The class-based Strike on Takodana takes players to Maz Kanata’s castle where the First Order and Resistance are battling it out. Here, players will use Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialist classes as they use teamwork to complete objectives.

The video from Westie below shows off 10 minutes of the mode, including a look at objectives and of course, plenty of gameplay.

EA has stated the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will be the largest tester it has ever released, and despite this, folks won't be able to pre-load it.

Hopefully, when the servers go live, folks will be able to finish the download and play at some point the same day.

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will go live on Friday, October 7 for everyone else, and if you need more details on what's included, we have compiled the contents and start times for you in one lovely post.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 releases on PC, PS4 and Xbox One November 17. Those who purchased the Deluxe Edition will be able to start playing on November 13.
