Battlefield 1 is free to play this weekend on Xbox One, In the Name of the Tsar and They Shall Not Pass free trial starts today

There's a lot going on in the world of Battlefield 1 this weekend on all platforms.

To start with, as part of the Xbox Free Play Days promo, Battlefield 1 will be available for free to Xbox Live Gold members September 22-24.

This trial includes access to the single-player campaign, as well as all base multiplayer maps. During this time, the Battlefield 1 Revolution Edition will be on sale for 40% off. This version includes all previously released and future content for Battlefield 1, as well as the base game.

As is always the case with these trials, since you'll be downloading the full game, all achievements and your save file will transfer over to the full game when you buy it.

Starting today and until September 30, the Revolution Battlefest will be active across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. During this time, both They Shall not Pass, and In the Name of the Tsar will be available for all owners of the game to try out. This includes the map, the new modes, as well as new weapons.

The game's Premium Pass is also on sale for 40% off across all platforms.
