Rocket League’s Autumn update heralds the start of competitive season 6

The leaves are falling, the wind is cooling, and Rocket League’s got new seasonal arenas.

This new trailer for Rocket League’s Autumn update takes us to the Farmstead, which looks lovely against the setting sun. The Wasteland and Starbase Arc are also getting some visual upgrades, as outlined in the trailer below.

There are some new additions outlined here – transparent goalposts (so you can see ball movement when you’re in the goal), new banners, and ‘over 90’ free cosmetic items. This isn’t a dramatic overhaul, but it’s still fairly substantial.

The update, which will also signal the beginning of competitive season 6, will be live on September 28.

Rocket League is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Switch version is due this ‘holiday season’.
