Star Wars Battlefront's season pass is free right now

If you picked up Star Wars Battlefront but never tried out the DLC, now's your chance to grab all of it for free.

The season pass for Star Wars Battlefront has been heavily discounted before, but right now it costs absolutely nothing. This is true on the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store, and Origin.

You'll need Xbox Live Gold to get the pass for free on the Xbox Store as well as the Xbox Deals with Gold 85% discount, but you'll also need Gold to make use of the extra maps included in the pass anyway, of course.

The Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass includes four DLC packs, made up of the Rogue One, Outer Rim, Bespin, and Death Star expansions, featuring 16 new maps and 4 new modes.

It's unclear whether this is a temporary or permanent price drop, but it's worth noting that the EA-published Titanfall made its season pass free a year after release, and never reverted back. Like Titanfall 2 before it, Battlefront will also not feature a season pass at all. All DLC released for the sequel will be free for all owners.

If you haven't picked the game up yet, it's also dirt cheap on Xbox right now.

The game's sequel, Star Wars Battlefront 2, will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 17.
