Destiny 2 – this Titan Exotic gets you unlimited grenades, unlimited shoulder charges

The best Exotic weapons and armour pieces in Destiny 2 are starting to be identified, and today, we have a great one for the Striker Titans out there.

As part of our Destiny 2 guide, we’re excited to bring you a pretty terrific build. Similar to the Hunter’s Orpheus Rig Exotic build, centred on a tasty bit of Titan Exotic armour.

The Insurmountable Skullfort, an Exotic Titan helmet returning from the original game can essentially give you unlimited shoulder charges and unlimited grenades if you play your cards right.

Insurmountable Skullfort does this thanks to its Transfusion Matrix perk, the description of which reads, “Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy.”

As you can seen in Arekkz‘s video below, all you need is a Striker Titan with the Code of the Earthshaker node activated for this to work. Every time you sprint, you get the shoulder charge (Seismic Strike), and if you manage to kill an enemy with it, it recharges instantly.

This also greatly speeds up grenade regeneration. If you manage to do this multiple times, say taking out trash mobs one by one, you can essentially never run out of either. As Arekkz points out, this is best used on smaller enemies you know you’ll kill in one shot, not more stronger foes such as bosses.

There’s no way to buy the Insurmountable Skullfort directly, but seeing as it drops from Exotic engrams, your best bet is to grind Heroic Public Events, one of Destiny 2’s best sources of loot, or engage in Crucible matches, Nightfalls, and everything else that awards high-level gear.

Building your character around certain Exotics is one of the must-dos of Destiny 2’s early lifespan – surely Bungie will eventually nerf some of these powerful set ups?
