The next Street Fighter 5 DLC character is Menat, out tomorrow
Capcom has revealed Menat, a new character coming to Street Fighter 5 on August 29.
Menat is an Egyptian fighter who is able to manipulate magic spheres. The orbs make up pretty much all of her attacks, and she's able to send them towards enemies and pull them back.
Menat was announced at the Hong Kong Esports Festival, as part of the Capcom Pro Tour event. She's been so far compared to Rose, who previously appeared in the Alpha series. Her V-Trigger ability lets her summon six spheres and each one is linked to her regular attacks.
Pushing the button for any of these attacks send the spheres towards the enemy.
She'll be available starting tomorrow for $6, or free as part of the season pass. At launch, she'll have alternate Story and Battle costumes. Abigail, the previous DLC character, was released last month.
