Destiny 2 peeked out from behind the curtains today. Catch a glimpse of its shining little face before it goes back into hiding.
Bungie lifted the lid on Destiny 2’s European Dead Zone destination, giving us a good look at this lush ruin-porn environment.
We’ve already talked about the open world content you’ll find in Destiny 2 after our own adventures in the European Dead Zone, but Arekkz has been out there scouring previews and footage to dig up some further tidbits of information.
While Bungie is still keeping plenty of information on Destiny 2 locked down, we can certainly get a bit of a feel for it from checking out this first destination. Check in with the master below to learn about a new Exotic weapon, explore the landscape of the European Dead Zone, and get a hint of what we may still have to learn about Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 releases in early September for consoles, and on PC in October. A PC beta kicks off next week, and will include a new Crucible map not seen in the console beta – so it’s worth a look if you just can’t wait for release.
Although the console beta test was an old build and unrepresentative, Bungie did make changes to Destiny 2 based on feedback – so if you’re a PC player be sure to check it out and give your two cents on how the shooter feels on your platform of choice.
