Call of Duty: WW2 private beta start and end times for Xbox One and PS4

Call of Duty: WW2 players who placed their pre-orders digitally through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace are now able to download the full beta.

Update: The Call of Duty Private Beta has gone live early. Ring in sick, skive off school, get yourself online and start earning your stripes, soldier.

The download comes in at just over 16GB. Those who pre-ordered at retail will still need a token from their retailer, which Activision is currently in the process of sending out.

You should receive yours no later than the beta's starting time on Friday, September 1. Unlike the first weekend beta, this one is open to players on PS4 and Xbox One. It's worth keeping an eye out too - the PS4 beta went live a day early. We'll update you if that happens again.

In the US, Comcast Xfinity customers can get a free beta code by using their customer number at a specific website.

Now that we've covered that, here's when the beta goes live on Sept 1:

  • 10am PT
  • 1am ET
  • 6pm BST
  • 7pm CEST

Xbox One owners have been able to pre-load the beta from Tuesday, August 29 at 10am PT, 1am ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST. This second and final round of the beta ends on Monday, September 4.

A PC beta is going to happen, but Activision has not said when just yet.

As far as beta content, here's what you're getting:

  • Three modes - Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint
  • Three maps - Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar
  • War Mode operation Breakout
  • Five Divisions to choose from

If you're having any problems with the beta, it's worth keeping an eye on the official beta page from Sledgehammer.

For participating in the Private Beta you'll bag yourself a snazzy beta helmet and emblem.
