ReCore Definitive Edition revealed with a story expansion, T8-NK Corebot, and enhanced visuals.

ReCore has been out for almost a year already, but let’s not dwell on the passage of time ushering us to our inevitable demise, because that’s just terrifying.

Reviews were alright, ranging from sixes to eights. You can refresh your memory with our review round-up.

Rumours of a definitive edition popped up last week, with additional content that didn’t quite make it to the full game – like the T8-NK Corebot.

It turns out that the rumours were spot on, even with the release date. Microsoft announced the ReCore Definitive Edition at Gamescom for PC and Xbox One.

The Definitive Edition provides “increased resolution and HDR,” the T8-NK Corebot, and a new adventure, “Eye of Obsidian”.

If you already own the game, don’t grab your pitchfork just yet. An online update will give you all of the new stuff and enhancements.

ReCore Definitive Edition will be available on August 29 for $19.99.
