There it is: a full round of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in first-person with the updated UI

Forget custom servers running first-person mode, this is the real deal.

Now that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds officially supports the more immersive mode, at least on the test servers, it's time to watch someone go through an entire match locked in first-person.

In the video below, YouTuber TheHackingFreak plays a round in first-person with no commentary. There are some quick cuts in there to take away the boring bits, but it looks good.

The camera could stand to be a little bit higher, though, but that's not something that'll be fixed overnight. He even decides to go for two air drops in the hopes of finding the new Mk14 EBR. He doesn't get lucky, but instead gets a Groza and an M249 SAW.

Watch on YouTube

As you can see, the video not only shows all the actions you typically do in PUBG from the first-person perspective, it's also a good way to see some of the new subtle changes made to the UI in the monthly patch. The gear you have equipped, as well as weapons, appear left of the health bar and left of the map respectively.

The final encounter was particularly chilling, because unlike third-person, you can't look over the horizon as you're prone. In these situations, your attacker has the advantage since he already knows where you are.
