Leaked Destiny 2 trailer hints at a social space on Titan, has Zavala anxious to fight

Bungie hasn't shown us much of the Destiny 2 campaign, but Comic-Con attendees got to see a new trailer that reveals a few bits of intel about the story.

The video hasn't been released outside of Comic-Con, but Reddit user Warhunterkiller managed to film it off the screen. The angle and audio quality are not the best, but it's mostly clear enough to make out what's going on.

We've embedded it below, but it'll likely be taken down.

The trailer seems to be part of a behind-the-scenes-style video, showing the same scene from different production perspectives. It starts off with in-game footage, and cuts back and force between the recording booth, and the motion capture studio.

There's even a narrator that reads what sounds like the game's script, using terms like "interior, night" and so on. The cut-scene takes place on Titan, one of the four new destinations in Destiny 2 in a command centre of sorts. This could either be where Commander Zavala will be during the events of the campaign, or possibly a new social space.

Commander Zavala is seen contemplating the attack on the city, and ordering an all-out attack. At one point, he asks a character whether or not the fleet is ready, though we're not sure if it's the player Guardian or someone new. It doesn't sound like Amanda Holliday, and she's wearing a Titan armour.

We get to see actor Lance Reddick in the booth, and it's interesting to realise that he only voices the character while other actors perform the motion capture and stunts.

It wraps up with Zavala saying he needs his fireteam, referring to Ikora and Cayde-6. It was never implied the three actually formed a fireteam, so that was cool to see.

The timeline of this scene is hard to make out, though. It could take place early in the story before you go on looking for Cayde and Ikora. It also sounds like a last hurrah-type deal that's maybe near the end of the campaign.

We'll no doubt learn everything on September 6 when the game releases on PS4, and Xbox One.
