Injustice 2 trailer shows off Starfire using her rather awesome supernova super on Robin

Starfire is the subject of this Injustice 2 trailer shown during Comic Con 2017 this weekend.

The Injustice 2 trailer shows Princess Koriand’r, known as Starfire, giving Robin a rather nice beating.

She's still stinging over the death of Dick Grayson it seems. Apparently, her and Robin aren't romantically involved at this point either.

But, there are so many plotlines, alternate timelines and what have you in comics that it's hard to keep up with sometimes, so who knows what the deal between these two happens to be in Injustice 2.

Convoluted plotlines in DC Comics (Marvel too while we're on the subject) notwithstanding, the game is rather popular.

One thing we thought was rather cool in the new gameplay trailer was her supernova super. Many of the supers in the game are neat to look at, but Starfire's is right up there with Darkseid's. Well, at least in the top five of super moves, in our humble opinion.

Starfire is included with the Digital Deluxe Edition of Injustice 2, along with fighters Red Hood and Sub-Zero. It contains a Premiere Skin and an exclusive Gear Shader as well.

Those who have not purchased the game yet, should give the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition the once over, as it comes with nine playable characters and three Premiere Skins for select fighters.

Injustice 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One. A release date for Starfire hasn't been announced, but she's expected in August.
