Destiny 2 weekly resets will also be on Tuesdays

The weekly resets in Destiny 2 may be changed from their current form, but you can at least be sure they'll still take place on Tuesdays.

Bungie confirmed this tidbit on this month's developer podcast.

The studio did not reveal any other details about the rest itself, such as how different it's going to be from what we currently have in Destiny 1.

In the podcast, Bungie also provided some light information about the thinking behind changes like locked loadouts in some activities, how the beta helps with making sure even simple things like launching and closing the game don't cause issues, and more.

We're less than 12 hours away from the start of the Destiny 2 beta. PS4 players who pre-ordered get first dibs, Xbox One folks join the fun tomorrow, and everyone else on Friday. The PC beta starts in late August.

PlayStation Plus, and Xbox Live Gold are needed if you plan to play anything beyond the single-player mission.
