This Dark Souls mod replaces the player model with Epic Sax Guy
Well, here's an interesting mod for Dark Souls players to give a try. Especially if they're Eurovision fans. Or like internet memes.
Dark Souls players can now download the Sax Souls mod which changes the main character to a Eurovision contestant who became an internet meme: Epic Sax Guy.
Here's a bit of background for you in case you aren't one to keep up with internet memes.
Epic Sax Guy, whose real name is Sergey Stepanov, plays saxophone for SunStroke Project out of Moldova. The group participated at Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, after which Stepanov was dubbed Epic Sax Guy due to his dancing style and flashy clothes.
Many a YouTube video was created using Stepanov's solo from the group's song Run Away. The two most popular videos featuring this solo clock in at 10 hours long, one of which features nothing but Gandalf nodding his head the entire time. Click those links at your own risk.
Now, back to the Sax Souls mod.
Created by modder Abject, in the player model in Dark Souls is replaced by Stepanov as he appeared at Eurovision 2010.
His sax is a reskinned Channeler's Trident (thanks, PC Gamer), and Abject added in a keytear and electric guitar for good measure (the Knight Shield and Great Club, respectively).
