Destiny 2: watch gameplay from the new Sentinel and Voidwalker subclasses

Bungie has offered an updated look at the Sentinel, and Voidwalker subclasses and our first look at the new PvP map Endless Vale.

The footage was revealed by IGN earlier in the form of two videos. Both show PvP gameplay exclusively.

The first focuses on the new Titan subclass, Sentinel. We get to see the class ability that gives it a shield, as well as his super which is somewhat inspired by Captain America's shield.

The Sentinel can be seen hurling the shield at foes, and it ricochets around a bit before returning to him. He's also able to use it as as a melee weapon with increased damage.

Control is being played here on Endless Vale, one of Destiny 2's new PvP maps. The site also released another video of the same map and mode, this time from the perspective of the Warlock subclass, Voidwalker.

The Voidwalker retains his Void grenade from the first game, but his class ability is what's new. This ability gives it an overshield, which is similar to other defensive abilities like the Sentinel's.

One thing to note here is that although Power Ammo appears from the start of the match in the videos, this may not necessarily be how it's going to work at launch.

We'll be able to try out the Titan Sentinel, Dawnblade Warlock, and Arcstrider Hunter in the Destiny 2 beta.

The beta starts next week on all platforms, but PS4 players get in early.
