This trailer for a fake Overwatch Netflix show is so good we wish the show actually existed

Netflix is not currently producing an animated series based on Overwatch, but this trailer could easily fool you into thinking there is one.

Created by YouTube channel Lion Montages, the video stitches together footage from the game's cinematic shorts to produce an elegant, slick and exciting trailer for a supposed Netflix show based on the game.

It works great as someone's first introduction into the world of Overwatch, starting off with the main plot point of what Overwatch is, what the team did, and what happened to them, before quickly going through cool shots of many of the most recognisable heroes.

It doesn't linger on any one hero too long, and it always makes it a point to show them in the best light. Even the use of Rag'n'Bone Man's Human is spot on. If this was shown to Netflix executives, I bet it'd make for a great pitch. Someone needs to do it, though, because Blizzard takes ages to put one a single cinematic short.
