Sony reveals that Trophies will now sync faster and the first thing people do is bring up PSN name changes

Sony has made an important and grand change to PSN overnight: making Trophies sync faster with its servers.

In case you're wondering, no, this is not a joke. This massive development was considered big enough that Sony announced it on the official PlayStation Twitter to its 14 million followers.

For most, however, the automatic Trophy syncing feature takes care of things when PS4 consoles go into Rest Mode.

Though hardly surprising, the first few replies on this tweet are all asking Sony to allow players to change their IDs, the loudest and most common request by fans since the PS3 days.
