Watch us explore two stages and ride a jaguar, as you do.
Super Mario Odyssey is looking pretty good – it looks weird and different but still absolutely brilliant, and it’s difficult not to have confidence in Nintendo’s ideas coming of the back of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Back at E3 I went hands-on with the game and delivered the usual, expected in-depth hands-on write-up, and that’s well worth a read if I do say so myself. Now, however, you can also see a little of the Mario action for yourself, since we’ve got some new gameplay capture of the areas shown during E3.
Here we visit both the city stage and the desert stage – which means you get to see us explore around New Donk City, ride a scooter and take on some platforming challenges atop skyscrapers, plus you get to see us wander around the much larger and more open desert area and ride a Jaxi – a new friend of Mario who is half Jaguar, half Taxi… thus Jaxi.
Super Mario Odyssey is out on October 27 – not long to wait now!
