The traditional mid-year Xbox Ultimate Games Sale is a doozy this year.

The list of games on Major Nelson’s Blog is massive, as is to be expected. To make things a bit easier, here are some top picks from the list, and how heavily they are discounted (prices will vary by region; first discount is for non-Gold members, second is for Gold subscribers).

Xbox One has a lot of the usual suspects, but there are a few solid bundles, and some more recent games you are less likely to have seen discounted before. These include:

  • Assassin’s Creed Triple Pack: Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate: 60%/67%
  • Battlefield 1 – Titanfall 2 Deluxe Bundle: 60%/67%
  • Dark Souls 3 – Deluxe Edition: 50%/60%
  • Gears of War 4: 50%
  • Halo Wars 2 (Standard and Deluxe editions): 50%
  • Injustice 2: 15%/25%
  • Life is Strange Complete Season: 67%/75%
  • Little Nightmares: 20%/30%
  • Madden NFL 17: 67%/75%
  • Metro Redux Bundle: 67%/75%
  • Oxenfree: 50%/60%
  • Snake Pass: 40%
  • Steep: 40%/50%
  • The Witness: 50%/60%
  • Thimbleweed Park: 35%
  • Worms WMD: 40%/50%

When it comes to the Xbox 360, it might seem like your library is already full enough, but rest assured – that backlog can always get bigger. There are a few underrated efforts, interesting curios, or games you simply may have missed or forgotten about on this list, including:

  • Beautiful Katamari: 65%/75%
  • Call of Juarez: Gunslinger: 65%/75%
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution: 70%/80%
  • Fable Anniversary: 57%/67%
  • Hitman HD Pack & Blood Money: 70%/80%
  • Remember Me: 65%/75%
  • Skate 3: 65%/75%
  • Spec Ops: The Line 70%/80%
  • Tales of Vesperia: 65%/75%
  • The Bureau: XCOM Declassified: 75%/85%
  • The Darkness 2: 70%/80%

The sale will run from now until July 10, so you’ve got a while to sort your ‘I need this’ list from your ‘I probably won’t play this but I suppose I will buy it anyway’ list.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
