Check out the Gran Turismo Sport E3 2017 trailer Sony didn't show during its presser
Gran Turismo Sport was left out of the fun today.
Although Sony released this trailer in celebration of its E3 2017 presentation today, the platform holder didn't give Gran Turismo Sport a headline slot.
The trailer is called Join the Human Race, which we assume is a nod at the highly connected, social nature of Gran Turismo Sport, which puts a lot of emphasis on online competition.
We're not sure why the racer didn't get more time in the limelight unless it's because Sony was responding to criticism of its lengthy shows. Or perhaps the platform holder didn't want to draw attention to the fact that Gran Turismo Sport's current release window is northern autumn 2017, after another of the delays the franchise is famous for. How much money has Gran Turismo made that Polyphony can spend bloody years working on each game? More power to them, I guess.
Gran Turismo Sport held a couple of betas recently so we at least know the damn thing is playable. Perhaps Sony's giving it plenty of time in the oven so that it can stand out as a PS4 Pro 4K showcase?
