Host and organizer Geoff Keighley announced the news on Twitter, noting that tickets will go on sale today.

Last year, we were given a look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gameplay along with a new trailer, another look at Death Stranding, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition with Duke Nukem,

Phoenix Labs debuted its first title Dauntless at the show, some new Prey and Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay and plenty of others.

We expect plenty of debut footage and possible announcements at the show. Surely, Hideo Kojima will be there again to show off Death Stranding.

Of course, awards will be handed out too. Last year Overwatch walked home with Game of the Year and Best Multiplayer awards, Inside took home Best Independent Game, Best Handheld went to Pokemon Go, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine best RPG, and other awards were handed out.

The Game Awards 2017 will take place on the evening of December 7. As always, we'll give all the news that comes out of it.

Once the nominees and categories are announced, we'll let you know.
