Assassin's Creed Origins cinematic trailer promises you'll uncover the mysteries of mummies, the gods and the last pharaohs

Assassin's Creed Origins debuted during Microsoft's presser yesterday, but Ubisoft naturally spent some time detailing its big 2017 release as well.

One of the results of this is the cinematic trailer above. Titled Mysteries of Egypt, it came with the promise that Assassin's Creed Origins players will "experience the Mysteries of Ancient Egypt – uncover lost tombs, explore the Great Pyramids, and discover the secrets of mummies, the gods, and the last pharaohs". And then stab them, probably.

Between the Assassin's Creed Origins Xbox One X 4K gameplay demo yesterday and a detailed preview revealing RPG-like skill trees, boss battles and peeing NPCs we knew a fair bit about the latest stab-'em-up even before Ubi's presser kicked off.

Nevertheless, if you'd like to watch the full Assassin's Creed Origins E3 2017 presentation from Ubisoft's presser, it's embedded below.
