Rumour: Square Enix hiring devs to work on Final Fantasy 16

Has Square Enix posted an anonymous job ad looking for staff to work on a "Super-Famous RPG Series"?

DualShockers has spotted a job ad posted by an anonymous Japanese company looking for a 2D Artist to work on a "Super-Famous RPG Series."

The description of the company states that they've created “huge RPGs” and online games, and amongst a heavy smattering of other clues that all point to the Final Fantasy creators, the location of the company's headquarters perfectly matches that of Square Enix.

The successful candidate will work on concepts for towns, fields, dungeons, weapons, vehicles, items, map icons and all that jazz. They will also create the image of "a certain RPG’s numbered title."

This is all just speculation but it sounds like Square Enix are hiring for Final Fantasy 16.

What do you think? Could any other developer or game series fit the bill? Chime in below.
