Overwatch Play of the Game used in campaign ad for South Korean politician

A South Korean politician borrowed Overwatch's Play of the Game in one of her political ads.

Overwatch spotlights the best play of the game at the end of each match in a highlight clip called Play of the Game. These short clips have a unique sound and presentation that got so popular at one point it turned into a meme.

Now, it appears people outside of the gaming community have taken notice. South Korean presidential candidate Sim Sang-Jung (via Kotaku) used the Play of the Game music and presentation, even down to the "kills" bit in one of her political ads.

It's not clear if the ad was made by her campaign or another party, but it shows her winning a couple of political debates, leaving her opponents speechless. It's a bit "how do you do, fellow kids", but it's well made.

In other Overwatch news, the game has now become Activision Blizzard's 8th billion-dollar franchise. Overwatch managed to do this less than a year from release, which is very impressive.
