Arekkz listened hard during the investor call and pulled away some gems. Activision promised a "continuous calendar of events following the expansion pass", The first expansion is due to drop by next winter, and the second is due in Spring 2018).

We know some details about the Expansion Pass already, but it sounds like there will be other content drops beyond these 'big' ones. Arekkz speculates that Bungie could follow the Overwatch model and drop seasonal events (Overwatch has been a big earner after all), but nothing is confirmed yet.

Bungie has been promising that Destiny's sequel will rectify the slow pace of the original game's content drops since last year. The fact that they are aware of this issue and want to fix it is encouraging.

We also learned that Destiny 2 will have "meaningful features" for PC users who jump in on the sequel. We'll know more about this on May 18, thanks to the reveal event.

Bungie also said that there's a free event coming to the original Destiny. Nothing more was said about it, but it wouldn't surprise us if there's a small mission that leads into Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 8.
