According to a post on the Ubisoft forums, issues Premium Currency, the new microtransactions available in The Division, caused an unexpected issue resulting in a delay bringing Xbox One servers back online.

The team said it has made "good progress" with resolving the issue, in order to get the game back online as soon as possible, the use of Premium Currency has been disabled.

Players can still buy credits in the Xbox Store, but will not receive them in-game until the issue is fixed.

Massive said it will provide an update on when the Premium Currency will be available for Xbox One as soon as possible.

There was also a delay getting the PC and PS4 servers up on time after the maintenance period was scheduled to end at 6am ET. The servers were back online four hours ago, at around 9:30am ET.

The Division's Last Stand DLC and the free patch 1.6 are now ready for download.
