The creators of Long War, the extremely popular XCOM: Enemy Unknown mod, have announced a sequel for XCOM 2 on PC.

Titled Long War 2, the developers didn’t provide any details on the project, but noted it would share more information “in the coming weeks.”

It was also noted in the announcement on Steam the studio has changed its name from Long War Studios to Pavonis Interactive. You can check out its new website through here.

Members of the studio were hired by Firaxis to work on multiple mods to be released alongside XCOM 2 at launch. If you head through the developer’s website, you can take a look at the day-one mods released for the title.

The studio is also still actively developing its grand strategy game Terra Invicta, which tasks the player with leading the defense of Earth during an alien invasion. It’s status is noted as being in the “pre-Kickstarter” phase.

XCOM 2 was released for PC in February 2016 and arrived on PS4 and Xbox One in September.
