A new briefing video for Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Andromeda Initiative has been posted on the official website.

The video above gives you a deeper look at the Nexus space station and Ark spaceships. The Nexus, inspired by the Milky Way’s Citadel, alongside the Arks, will be the player’s home base in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Avina, who you hear speaking in the video, is a virtual intelligence program which will provide answers to questions, guidance and insight on current events. She appears as an Asari in hologram form which is one of the races found in the Milky Way Galaxy.

The program is accessible at “several terminals throughout the Nexus,” but has a “limited capacity for discourse,” so don’t expect Avina to provide opinions – only information.

You can find out more on Avina and the Andromeda Initiative through the official website.

Last night at The Game Awards, Bioware’s general manager, Aaryn Flynn hopped on stage to reveal a new gameplay walkthrough video. If you missed it, it’s posted through the link.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out in spring 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
