Overwatch: see Genji's Dragonblade and shurikens recreated in real life

The equipment everyone's favourite Overwatch cyborg relies on.

Craftsmen of all video game melee weapons, Man at Arms, have returned to create a replica of Dragonblade, the katana used by Overwatch's Genji.

Just like they did with the Bloodborne Saw Cleaver, the Arabian dagger from Battlefield 1, and many other projects, the intent is to make the Dragonblade a working real-life sword, complete with a cyberpunk look.

As you can see in the video above, the blade itself went through more or less the same forging process used with other videos. The tricky part was giving it the cyber look, which was achieved using polycarbonate and some green LEDS. And yes, it does glow.

The team also recreated Genji's shurikens, and they even hired someone to do a (bad) cosplay of the hero and cut stuff using them. It looks good
