The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta has been extended by 24 hours.

The test will now close at 10:00am PT Tuesday October 18, so put aside some time Monday evening to continue reminding your Call of Duty buddies that you'll still be top gun when Infinite Warfare launches in November.

The extension follows the addition of a new map and mode to the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta earlier in the weekend. In a blog post, Infinity Ward confirmed it has more content up its sleeves, including Gun Game.

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta is currently restricted to PS4, but will continue next weekend on both PS4 and Xbox One. Access is restricted to pre-orders, but each pre-order beta invite comes with a number of buddy codes, and there are plenty of them floating around.

For those of you on PS4, Infinity Ward confirmed on Twitter that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta progress from this first session will carry over to next weekend's test.
