We want this Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 year Celebration PS1 case, but Square Enix doesn't seem inclined to sell it

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, PSOne Edition.

Rise of the Tomb Raider arrived on PS4 this week in the 20 Year Celebration package, reuniting gaming's leading lady with the PlayStation brand.

To celebrate, Square Enix UK put together an awesome PSOne-style Rise of the Tomb Raider case, complete with manual. Check it out above.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like you can buy this anywhere, even though everyone immediately started asking why this wasn't included in a special or collector's edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. I'm not sure if it's just a one-time promo or what.

For some reason everyone's been snarking about the fact that the first Tomb Raider released on Sega Saturn before PlayStation - but both the Saturn and PSOne versions released 20 years ago, and the well-reviewed 20 Year Celebration re-release is all about reuniting Lara with PlayStation after a year away in Xbox console exclusivity, so I'm not sure it's really justified.

I'm broke this month and already waited a year so Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be my holiday game - just as the latest Tomb Raider was my big Christmas present from 1997 through 2000. Maybe I'll ring it in a toy catalogue and leave it meaningfully on my dad's desk?
